Comment on Is it time for Westerners to Weibo? by Ria Fernandez

Great article Katrina! I think that westerners will eventually start joining with this hype. I work for a social media data analysis firm called Fashionbi (http://fashionbi.com/blog/weibo-analytics-at-your-fingertips) from Milan, and recently we decided to add Weibo unto our service platform. Despite the distance, we really think that this network has a lot of potential! And I think it will only take some time before everyone realizes the same. Especially in terms of marketing! Comment on PR degrees are failing their students and failing the industry by Knapper

Well put, Sam. Where I have found the best PR programs are those who emphasize impactful and flexible writing and storytelling skills (life is more than 140 characters), and bring case studies and real-life situations to ask students, "What would you do? How would you deal with this situation?" That creates the critical thinking and questioning mindset that is so important. We like our interns to use their fresh brains and familiarity with new technology to tell us what areas we old fuddy-duddies might be missing.

Comment on Why Google’s Author Rank is a big win for the PR industry by Chandler Bryson

Sat, 24 Nov 2012 09:25:47 +0000

Nice post Sam, thank you very much for making us aware of the new and advantageous factor of SEO which is Author Rank. I think it is going to be a major factor in SEO. When a user is lading to your website and staying there to read your content, then probably he/she might want to read other post as well, this creates an impression & helps in making brand value of author.
