WordPress rules. There are a couple of plugins that you might want to look into, though. As Robert states, SpamKarm2 is the best thing for spam. It filters about 200 spam comments/day for me. A friend of mine has had up to 4000 filtered in one day (wtf).

Another one is Search Pages plugin, if you use the pages functionality in WordPress. It adds the ability to use WP's search to search pages instead of just blog posts. There are similar plugins if you want to search the comments as well.

Probably the most useful one besides SK2 is the WordPress DB backup in conjunction with WP-cron which I use to send me a gzipped DB backup every night at midnight via email.

Fonts should be better now. I want to look at SpamKarma, thanks for the reminder.

Welcome to the wordpress family! I seriously love it. Approaching a year since the switch. Don't regret it for a second. May want to check out SpamKarma2 ( I see your using wp-hashcash, which does have some downsides (JS required, and doesn't do trackbacks... which get massive spam, because it's not possible). SK is pretty easy to use and really effective. I've gotten hit with as many as 100 spams a day... and rarely do any get through. It's similar to SpamAssassin in design. It uses a points based system, and a variety of tests, blacklists, etc.

I wish there were something diplomatic I could say about IE, but right now there really isn't.

Your font is really tiny! I like blue!
