Great post. Keep up the good work. I run a company that provides one of those syndication tools, at wwww.sonific.com (music widgets) btw.

[...] Expect me to try to bring my own widgets to the chumby, especially a feed reading widget for this very blog, with plans for some generic / configurable feed reading widget for Google Reader using the Google Feed API. I’m also going to experiment with accelerometer based interaction with feeds, e.g. jumping to the next/previous story/feed by shaking the chumby as well as touch screen interactions. Georg, thanks for the compliments. Just two additional questions you possibly could answer. Was i correct in my assumptions regarding the reasons for starting eldono? Do you know if the WeltOnline Universe was done by WeltOnline or by some WeltOnline reader? I tried to reach WeltOnline (Peter S.) but my call wasn't answered. If it was done by a reader this would be an even greater example of the decoupling of content from the home page. If the universe is the brainchild of WeltOnline it would be an even greater example that they get it.

Great. 100 percent agreed. Very important point for publishers too: customer insight ... I'm looking forward to future posts on this topic ...
