With most of the Christmas-themed movies already in cinemas, or coming next week, that leaves the field clear for an assortment of blockbusters and awards contenders to dominate screens in December.

Naturally there's a selection of animated features (Ferdinand) and action-orientated fare (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) to keep the kids and teens amused, while the British period drama invasion continues with the Andy Serkis-directed Breathe.
