Communication Specialist
Rapid City, South Dakota

As Communications Specialist, your work will vary from design to troubleshooting to testing, to operating communications test equipment. This is the perfect opportunity for the individual who craves change and variety. One day you will manage the vendors you work with; another, you will attend to outages and yet another day will bring the challenge of product design and implementing those designs. Your daily activities will run the gamut from working with contractors to maintaining a microwave in the mountains. To qualify, you should hold an Associate?s degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology, or the equivalent combination of education/experience. You?ll need a minimum of 5 years of communications experience with electric utility communications systems (preferred). The ability to design and maintain systems is key to success in this role.
