BUMP! Greatest magazine ever. My collection is in storage. A few times a year something comes up in conversation that reminds me on an article from The Nose. I'd give anything for access to the archive or stories.

Jack, this is a great story indeed! And, an onsite interview as well, nice! Would there be a place in this story to include quotes or a link to this newly released article, by journalist Kent Priestley ? : https://www.americanmusical.com/Martin (scroll to bottom of page to read it now)

The foster parents were Ivan and Violette LeBeau. Violette LeBeau died 1977 and Ivan a few years thereafter. They had a daughter, Cathy, who is my mother. I would love to hear from anyone with knowledge of one of the foster girls, Tammy, whose maiden name I do not know. She is my Godmother, and I would love to get into contact with her, or hers.

The property which was once the site of Frank Zappa's legendary "Log Cabin" steeped in Los Angeles rock and roll history, is For Sale. Yes, I remember, you with the shotgun. You looked lovely. I was there too in the interview, you, me, Teri Ann, and god... what was her name...the original Lost Girls. We were fabulous. Miss you all

[…] However, I’ll admit I was super freaked out. There are tons of rumors about Waimea Valley being ancient burial grounds and of mysterious deaths in the Falls. I’ll spare you, but you can read more here: http://www.jackboulware.com/writing/journalism/haunted-hawaii […]

Comment on The Heart of Voltaire by Eduardo G P Fox

Cannot believe no-one commented on this. Anyways, I am here writing from Ferney-Voltaire, which deserved having been included in your list of his legacies :) I have also read about his brain having been removed and conserved in spirits, and there is even a medical paper describing it, but nowadays it is lost. Also people say that it sits under a statue of him, but it is said to be only a rumour. I wonder then if the heart is really in there? I think this is worth a small scientific expedition… Thanks for the amusing post, Eduardo

My kids gave me a 1960 Martin nylon acoustic for my birthday today. Its about 5 weeks before my birthday, but what the heck! I was wondering if anyone could give me some history about the guitar and it's place in the line up of famous Martin guitars. I would love to hear about it Thank you very much.
