DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - September 27, 2016) - Today less than 13% of American Indians have a college degree. With more than 40% of the Native population under age 18, the American Indian College Fund is working to help the upcoming generation Native youth meet their full potential through higher education. The College Fund is hosting a luncheon in Chicago Tuesday, October 4 at 11 a.m. at the Hilton Chicago Hotel, 720 S. Michigan Avenue to increase awareness about equity in education, mobilize supporters, and increase the number of American Indian graduates nationwide.
Keynote speaker is Bethany Yellowtail, a member of the Northern Cheyenne and Crow tribes who grew up on the Crow Reservation in Montana, where she learned sewing and design from relatives. A former scholarship recipient and graduate of The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise in Los Angeles, Bethany is a successful fashion designer and owner of B.Yellowtail, a fashion line that celebrates ancestral tradition, beauty, and culture, while embracing authentic, indigenous design through wearable art. She will speak about how scholarships provided her with an education and made a difference in her life.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet other Native student scholars and learn how the College Fund is changing American Indian education.
Individual tickets are $150 and tables are $2,500 (includes 10 tickets). To purchase your ticket, please visit collegefund.org/Chicago-luncheon or contact Hannah Urano at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 303-429-4191.

SCARBOROUGH, ON--(Marketwired - September 26, 2016) - The Canadian Centre for Refugee and Immigrant Health Care (CCRIHC) volunteer medical team has operated free medical clinics for refugees, migrants and others new to Canada for 17 years. Most are yet without access to Canadian health care.
Trying to re-build lives broken by war, patients and their families sit side by side in our Centre's waiting area. While waiting for care, they care for each other. New to Canada, they are all in the same boat. They need medical help. They talk with each other. They look after each other's children while parents receive care. Their children play together in the playroom. New friendships begin. Hope starts again. Some patients return to our Centre's clinics to help out. They bring food. They drive others to appointments. They translate. They donate when they can.

DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - September 21, 2016) - Some states have chosen to offer state-based official health insurance marketplaces to meet the requirements of the federal Affordable Care Act. As with all health insurance marketplaces, the goal is to help residents lower their healthcare costs, promote health and eliminate health inequalities. After completing the second open enrollment, a state health benefit exchange identified the need to update their CRM platform and improve their operations to serve customers better, gain insightful information and enhance their overall operations. To help facilitate this, an RFP was issued in 2016 identifying the needs and Eventus Solutions Group was chosen as part of a larger team to help implement overall contact center changes. This is Eventus's third Oracle Service Cloud platform installation for a state-based Health Benefit Exchange.
