A quick app I put together this morning as a response to Todd Vanderlin's AR scratching ( vimeo.com/4312616 ). The app uses the accelerometer of the ipod touch to control the speed of a 'vinyl record' on the ipod screen. Slowing down the record and speeding it up is just a matter of controlling how fast you spin the device.

Note:
It only really works on the ipod touch 2nd gen as the case design is perfect for spinning on smooth surfaces. Might have to make a little spinning attachment for all the other ipod/iphone djs :)

I got the opportunity to sit in at one of the rehearsals and interview a very talented group of musicians, The Beat Killers, I met them a while back, while they performed at one of our Redwood Shows, I believe it was a Masuimi Max hosted A Hard-on For Trouble. Their live performance full of energy and great interaction with the crowd was very impressive, and the garage rock 'n roll, vintage, 60's, dirty sound was all I needed to become an instant fan. Since then, I've seen them perform a couple of times, and it's been great every time, there's just certain type of styles you don't get tired of. Anyway, here's the interview I got with them, I hope you enjoy it.
