A Christmas Tag

2016-11-07T22:09:16.101-05:00

I had such a great time last month particpating in the JoyClair Challenge that I thought I would join again this month. I am loving the color combination that they have posted for us to play with.  I am hoping to do another project with a reindeer

I figured I would get a head start on my holiday projects and I needed some Christmas tags.

Come join us!

Fall Challenge

2016-10-24T00:30:05.264-04:00

I had such a good time designing the last Joy Clair challenge card and so I designed another one with my spellbinder dies.

The card just reminds me of that tree hanging over the wooden fence.

I'm BACK!!!

2016-10-17T00:34:17.121-04:00

Hello my friends!  I cannot believe that I have not posted in so long.  It has been a very busy year with family things going on that I just have not had time to get on here and post.  I have had a few periods of time that I have been able to craft and make cards but that has been about it.

Today as I was browsing the web I found this new challenge at Joy Clair  and thought I would give it a try.  It really is about "fall", colors and leaves.  I thought I would try to match up the colors on this first attempt.

Vintage tags

2016-02-11T21:28:09.492-05:00

Hello....welcome back!!!

Yep, some more tags that I have been working on.  These are a bit more vintage than the last batch, taking a bit mote time for me to create.  Of course I can never just make 12 of the same thing.  What do you think?  Are you a clean or simple tag luv'r?

Tata for now.  Heidi

Sweet Tags

2016-02-05T21:27:03.618-05:00

Hello, it is nice to have you stop back in.  Today's goodies are some fun Valentine tags.  We exchange goodies at work so I am going to attach tags to mine.
The tag is a magnolia which is vintage and whimsical.  The embellishments are made with various dies.  I also used a bit of washi tape...luv.

I hope you have a great day.

Valentine Marathon

2016-02-03T21:16:14.232-05:00

Welcome

So this last weekend was a Valentine marathon for me.  I needed to have a stash ready this week and so I got another handful of cards made.  I took this picture of them all for a friend and when I edited it I realized how much I loved all the colors.  Aren't they colors you just want to stare at?

Well I hope you are getting all you pink, reds and other colors that add joy to you.

Houndstooth Valentine

2016-01-29T20:58:00.157-05:00

Hi and Happy Friday!
I do hope you have some fun plans for this weekend. I have no plans and that sounds fun to me.

So here is another Valentine, building up that stash.  I have to work on tags next as we exchange Valentine's at work.  I like that this has some masculine touch (the black).

Go and create.

Love ya

2016-01-25T20:42:06.634-05:00

Hello again and thanks for stopping in.
This is another Valentines's Day card that I did this last weekend, trying to get a handful made.  Are your done?

I know it has a lot of prints in it but it is very vintage looking as well.  The little frame is a reverse confetti and whenever I use it I feel like I can add a little more of something.  In this case it is the little circle banner.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and it inspires you to create.
Heidi

Just a little love

2016-01-25T20:26:20.491-05:00

Thanks for stopping by today.  This card is one of the Valentines I have started this year.  I am loving the simplicity of it.  Sometimes it just looks cleaner don't you think?
I started with some splatter, added some cute little tape (isn't it adorable?) a little die cut and some gems.  You know me,  I need some glitz or candy to finish my project.
Have a great day.. go and create.

Reverse Confetti....

2016-01-06T20:12:09.700-05:00

Hello!

Here is another Reverse Confetti Challenge  card that I made this week.  They are having a big release this week and I am having so much fun looking at all the fun new stamps and dies: making my "wish list"  Come on over and join the challenge.
Stamp: Reverse Confetti Take Note Set, Confetti cuts

Amazing........... you are!

2015-12-22T22:42:21.639-05:00

Today I spent a little time making some cards- went to the Reverse Confetti for some inspiration again.  I did turn the sketch and adjust it a little bit.  This little set is adorable and I love the fonts on it.  I was able to get a few little fun dies from there as well that will be quite useful throughout the year.  Come join us for their challenge!

Hallows Eve

2015-10-04T16:49:02.295-04:00

Hello and Happy October!   Are you working on getting your cards done?  I don't send out a lot of them but a few friends get a little card as well as the boys (off at college).

This one I started with a black background and added some Halloweenish papers.  I wanted to participate in the Cheery Lynn Challenge so I pulled out my little spider web dies and added them to the corners.  The crow needed a "spooky" fence- love that fence!   You can add a little gift card to the front of this card as well!

Have a spooky month!
Heidi

Cheery Lynn- Anything goes...

2015-10-03T15:17:45.112-04:00

I wanted to get started on my Halloween cards.  What better than spooky to use cats, bats and old scary iron fences?  The ornamental fence is  Cheery Lynn Fence.

Challenge:  Cheery Lynn

A Little Treat

2015-09-30T20:14:00.259-04:00

You know it is time to make some fun little treats for neighbors, kids, etc... so this was my take on a candy bar wrapper.   I took a piece of paper and just folded it around the full size candy bar.  Then I used my crafting goodies to decorate.  The spooky cat is Tim Holtz collection,  the little circular BOO was cut out of my cuttlebug folder and layered with another circle.  The spider web is Martha Stewart.  I used the crimper to give texture to the one tag.

Come join us at the CropStop Link Up Challenge.

BOO!

2015-09-27T20:07:14.588-04:00

My first thought here was to make some BOO jars.  I am going to attach a little note and then I will put them on co-workers desks starting in October.
This first one I used the pumpkin Spellbinder dies that I cut out and then I used the die and some ink to give it a little depth, making it look 3D.  The circle is cut with Spellbinders die and EP Chillingsworth.

This jar I used the cat from the Tim Holtz die collection. To make these little scenes stand up I created my own little "stand". I wanted them to be 3D.

RC Fun!

2015-07-16T21:40:34.326-04:00

Happy Friday!

I had a little time this week to do a little crafting and of course where did I go for my inspiration?  Reverse Confetti Challenge no doubt!

I pulled out a fun colorful summer print and went to creating, using different patterns.  I adore this little sentiment from the Fabulous Flamingo set.  Come join us- they have new rubber this month too!

Celebration Album

2015-06-08T17:51:40.269-04:00

So this last weekend I had the urge to create something different, something that maybe I had done something like in the past but something I had not done in a LONG time.  So I set to make a card/album/folder.   Now this is a little bigger than your average card, it is basically 8.5x 5.5.
I can't even recall the paper- it was in a stack of 12x12 that I have had for a long time and just never used.  I adore the colors of baha blue, celery and a little brown in there.  I just could not help adding that striped ribbon either and just scrunched it up as it went down the side of the album.  The sentiments in this project are from Verve.
So this image is a little bit closer and you can actually see the little dots that I made with the plastics last year,  I am very surprised at how well all the different colors match all my different projects.

And then a picture of the inside of my album/folder. On the left side both are little pockets that I build to hold either little gift cards or little notes/tags.   On the right there are little slide in pockets (x2), alittle bit bigger things could be tucked in here.  I picture this as a graduation card/folder and you tuck in some memories, gift cards, maybe a series of little pictures.  Or it could be a card/folder for someone turning 40!  All your friends send you little notes or photos of memories of you..... something like that.

I would love to hear what you all would do with something like this!  I am considering opening my Etsy store back up and trying to sell some of these little memory makers.

Simple to Say

2015-05-09T22:10:00.379-04:00

Is this the sweetest card?  I used a verve stamp set and just randomly stamped the flowers- leaving a spot for the sentiment.  So simple and easy to make- I love how bright and cheerful it is.  I think that I will make a few of these and give the as a little gift set.

Starling Birthday!

2015-05-05T22:09:00.148-04:00

Now I can't honestly recall what I made this card for but guessing to build up my supply of Birthday Cards.  I love these colors although the card design is very simple.

Delightful Posey

2015-04-30T22:07:00.052-04:00

This particular card is made after a card that I received a couple of years ago and always just loved it.  I had alot of fun making the flowers, made about 25 of them so I could have them on hand, in different colors of course.  The flowers/stamps are from Verve

And then of course, in a little maize and blue!

A second.........

2015-04-27T08:00:03.231-04:00

Hello- so you know me, I had to make a 2nd card for the Reverse Confetti April Challenge.

This sentiment stamp and heart border are both R.C.

April Reverse Confetti

2015-04-25T21:58:11.933-04:00

Oh, hello!

I cannot believe it has been over a month since I have posted anything!  I have not done a great deal of crafting but I do have a few things to show off.  I was up very early the other morning and couldn't sleep so thought I would go back to my trusted monthly challenge over at Reverse Confetti

Come and join us!

Window Hello!

2015-03-19T20:18:11.226-04:00

This card is a little different than a couple of the other ones I have made this month for the Reverse Confetti March Sketch but it is still keeping with the sketch.   They challenged us to think outside of the box and turn it around a bit- so this is the sketch upside down and then I also used a more squarish shape.  As you can see though, there is still a little peek a boo window.

It's your Bird day.....

2015-03-08T19:55:03.329-04:00

Oh boy.... it's your bird-day!!

So another card for this month... using the Reverse Confetti Sketch.   I wanted it to be kind of soft and elegant, natural feeling- and I do believe I met my goal.  I hope you like it.  Come join us with the challenge this month!

Happiness

2015-03-13T21:26:11.434-04:00

Happy Sunday Friends!!

Today I got a little time today to make some cards and this is the first one that I made.  Of course it is a card utilizing the Reverse Confetti Sketch for March.  The sketch is very cute and I stared at it for a bit wanting to do a little something different with it.  So I came to the conclusion that I needed to punch out the inner area and then build the card over it.  So you can basically see through it- and when you open the card the little message is behind the circle.  I hope you will join us!
