Same bus will take you to connect to the MAX Train line to the Airport or multiple other locations. Very good public transportation. A few blocks down to 23rd or 21st streets you'll find everything you could want. On 23rd Street you can catch the Portland Street Car to the Pearl District or Downtown and the waterfront. I often just walk to these areas. Multiple buses withing 2 blocks will take you through the Pearl, Downtown and across town to the NE or SE areas.
