2017 Neighborhood Cookie Party

This is the 10th year I’ve hosted a neighborhood cookie party. Here’s this week’s plan: Sunday — Steak & Salad Monday — Salmon & Asparagus with Mango Salsa I put both the salmon and asparagus in at 425º for 10 minutes Tuesday — High Pockets Paleo Pasta Wednesday — Souvlaki +  Shopska Salad (macedonian version of cucumber tomato salad) Thursday — Meatloaf : Paleo or Traditional (we went traditional!) It’s April!  No fooling!  Here’s how we’ve been eating this past week: Sunday — PaleOMG’s Pizza Spaghetti Pie Monday — Tutti Fruity Chicken Kabobs Tuesday — Italian Sausage & Pepper Saute Wednesday — Shrimp Scampi over Zucchini Linguine Thursday — Autumn Stew Never mind that it’s spring, we needed a hearty meal Friday — TBD/Cheat Night Saturday — Bonus!  We hosted a dinner party party and served this delicious Moroccan feast: Slow Cooker Moroccan Chicken + Spicy Lamb Stew + Pistachio Apricot Couscous It was my first time making any of these dishes and they were all so flavorful and yummy. This past week, the kids and hubby put together the menu and did the shopping since I was out of town over the weekend.  Apologies for the lack of links, it was all pretty basic.  Here’s what they came up with: Sunday — leftovers Monday — Simple Roasted Salmon + Roasted Asparagus + Tomato Cucumber Feta Salad This is a really simple easy meal to throw together.  I drizzle the salmon and asparagus with garlic infused olive oil, season with salt and pepper and put both in the oven at 425 for about 10 minutes. Tuesday — Balsamic Pork Chops + Pan Roasted Brussel Sprouts w/Bacon Wednesday — Breakfast for Dinner:  Kodiak Cake Waffles + Omelets Thursday — Hamburgers + Sweet Potato Fries / Tater Tots (store bought) + Sauteed Mushrooms Friday — TBD/Cheat Night Note: all meals are generally paleo/primal, except as noted otherwise.
