I love to sit with my girls and draw with crayons.
They are surprisingly fun and expressive, but it's clear that some manufacturers cheap out on certain colors and there isn't much consistency in the way they perform from color to color. But that adds to the serendipity of it.

I expect more to come, though I'm not giving up acrylics. Using one medium really makes me appreciate the other.The "framed" drawing is a funny pad of paper my daughter has where every page has a different frame printed on it. We were drawing together one morning with her markers and my other daughter decided to add to my sketch with some smashed up strawberry. I like what it adds to it.[...]
