You're a great writer. There's a fluidity to your work and it's a pleasure to read.

Thanks, Jane. I really like it there, too. You're right--the mousse was amazing. I'll try the steak next time.

Good meal at a very reasonable price. Now I can see why you like Bistrot Bistro. I will certainly return and probably take advantage of the prix fixe menu.

Thanks a lot for suggesting (more than once!) Bistrot Bistro. It really did not disappoint! :)

Ooh, I love Bistrot Bistro! Was taken there for my birthday last year and look forward to going again. I had a beautifully cooked steak and the chocolate mousse - some of the best mousse I have ever had. It all seems like real food somehow, and is so satisfying. Just the kind of restaurant experience I like, but so rarely seem to find.

This looks great I think I have everything on hand except Pernod. Is there anything I can replace it with? Thanks!

Hi, our oyster, the Okeover, grown by Okeover Organic Oysters in Okeover Inlet, was one of the 12 oyster varieties on the Pacific Kiss platter. The platter enabled many new people to discover our tray grown, beach hardened oyster that we take great pride in growing. Check us out at http://www.organicoysters.ca. Cheers, André Comeau

Kim's sauce was better, I must admit. I have to figure out how to recreate it. I suppose rabbit is the key.

The sauce looks strangely similar to the one we had at Bistrot Bistro w/ Kim's dish. Well, I'm sure it didn't have cognac. Looks divine!
