Then we came home and had cake with Mimi.

Shane Carman #38- Final Rumble Season

It has been a great season watching Shane play football.  His 2nd and final year as a Rumble tackle player. He has grown so much since he started playing last year.  He played Quarterback all season and really enjoyed being a leader.  He is looking forward to bumping up to the Pony team next season.  Shane really stayed focused all season and had a great time.  He was a great teammate and always tried his hardest and gave it 110%.  He makes us both proud and I believe we were both fighting back tears when he was called up to accept his end of season trophy as the MVP.   Here are some highlights from his season.[...]

Shane's 74yard QB keep Touchdown.

Shane played a great game last week against Vernon Blue.  Although they lost he played really hard.  He even scored their only TD with a 74yard QB Keep.  I was able to get it on video- but I was so excited that I didnt' see him run out of the frame- twice ;)

Allie Sandwich

A delicious Allie sandwich

If there was ever a sport that this kid was made for, football would be it.  At a very young age he was rougher, tougher and bigger than most of the kids his age. He had aggression like I never knew was possible.  I think I have noticed more this year, as opposed to last year, that he is really into the sport.  Last year it was new and he was learning the ropes and was one of the younger kids on his team.  He played well last year but this year he has taken it to a whole new level.  He plays defense like he is out for blood and he is the QB on offense.  I love watching him play! Throwing the ball at the Pep Rally.Full speed ahead. Oh this boy! It takes more than one person to get him down. Coming off the field after being announced.Waiting for coaches instruction. Running to his position.QB Keep  TOUCHDOWN #38 SHANE CARMAN(to say tears were coming from my eyes was an understatement)[...]

Well the 2015 season of Football began in August and it is finally starting to feel a little more like football weather.  John is really enjoying this season. Brian is helping coach, and John seems to be learning a lot.  He has been playing Defensive End and Tight End.  I love watching #53 on and off the field. He is trying his best and is a great teammate too.  Looking forward to the rest of the season. Go KMFL Pony's!John and some friends at the Pep Rally.#53 Playing Defensive End[...]
