Hi James, hope you are fine.
I threw away a fine bamboo plant as I was looking for a job and I was unable to find one. After throwing away the plant my husband job has been continuously in trouble. Please advise. How do I reverse this long period of bad luck.

Ironically today I just cancelled TekSavvy today to switch to vMedia. I'm not sure if there is a statute on this type of stuff as I wrote this blog 4 years ago.

Oh wow. I never knew there were so many like me. I've had these same 2-3 at a time hiccups since 2007. They range from loud and painful choking crows to short yips (think small dog got stepped on). Docs say it's not turrets, but mine seem to get worse if I'm tired or drinking strong coffee. Double down if I drink coffee to cover for low sleep XD. Even worse if people start laughing because it makes me nervous = More hiccups. Best thing that works for me to control the severity (no cure yet) is to just drink water throughout the day because it's worse when my throat is dry.

This may be hearsay. I recall hearing about it somewhere along the line, but I don't know of a specific source.

Curious where the stipulation that upon the city purchasing the building, Landmark will be food vendor. Where are the public records of this . Some are saying this stipulation does not exist .

I understand your perspective on the traffic flow, though I'm not sure I agree on the local downtown merchant stuff. I think that by having a building like this it strengthens the downtown as a whole. Having more options to attract people into the core is something that benefits the whole area. I know a lot of people have stated competition worries, but really I think that's a moot point. More people will be living near the downtown core than possibly ever before with the new condo projects. There should be plenty of room in the market for downtown businesses to thrive without hamstringing the library restaurant with a mandate to promote other local merchants.

Thank you for the quote; showing the people alternative viewpoints to the status quo makes our democracy stronger, it is appreciated!

However, I suggest to your viewers they read my policies, and confirm their own comprehension of events, themselves;

I do agree - the same naysayers that poo-pooed the Dunfield Theatre project are busy with their negativity with the Old Post Office. They are also the one's that have come up with every reason to counter a bypass for the heavy truck traffic heading towards the 403 which has created the traffic nightmare on Hwy 24/Hespeler Road/Water Street which leads me to the one thing that I think is being ignored and that is the problem with the parking. The new Old Post Office will be offering programming for children, adolescents and teens along with the adults and groups (by the way, the space will be a wonderful spot for book clubs to meet!). The parking lot across the street is exactly that, across a major roadway with A LOT of traffic that is moving very quickly (I have the cheese store right beside the Old Post Office so I now of which I speak). I am foreseeing major problems and potential accidents occurring as people WILL jaywalk from the parking lot rather than walking up the crosswalk at Main and Water plus the parking in that lot is inadequate as it is at the moment. This needs to be addressed immediately as any solution is a major one. One other thing is that I think that it should be a stipulation that the Cambridge Mill should have to source items for the restaurant from local and preferably downtown merchants for a restaurant that is a part of the downtown. It would give small businesses like mine an opportunity to present to the community what is available right here in Galt-On-The-Grand and certainly fair in terms of a public facility.

Re: Top Canadian Rock Songs Of All Time

Sun, 20 Jul 2014 18:35:40 -0000

To all the people complaining here about Rush and other classic rock bands not being included on this list...102.1 The Edge is a NEW rock station. They don't play Rush or any music from the 70s or early 80s, so they weren't going to include songs by any of those bands on this list. Though I must say I agree with people complaining about Nickelback on this list. I also think it's a disgrace that Nickelback is rated so high on this list let alone at all.

Re: Josie Dye – Stupidity all around

Fri, 27 Jun 2014 17:53:43 -0000

NARC!!! I know that vapid annoying din anywhere! You're Josie pretending to be someone who likes her! Everyone in the world knows no one likes Josie, and that she is "poser hottie" (that is someone who tries their hardest to sound like a sexy girl but isnt, like a fat girl on the phone). Josie, you're as useless as a bikini in the arctic! U Sux0rz!

I heard that the U.S. discovered time travel and were obsessed with their humiliating defeat in the Vietnam War, and in an effort to reverse their defeat had planned to take some audio recordings back in time. But upon arrival had realized that neither USBs nor mp3s software had been developed in that era. Rendering the attack useless, and proving the Temporal Paradox theory.

Re: Josie Dye – Stupidity all around

Your comments mirror mine to the tee. Josie Dye is the epitome of the term "dumb blonde". She is forever making mistakes or incorrect assumptions on the air, fading songs in or out at the wrong times or pushing the talk-over button (lowering the level of the song playing) right in the middle of a song... and her extremely high opinion of herself is as irritating as F@#$... I can't take it any longer. I've moved on to 88.1.

I did a writeup on it on TonyMacX86 when I put it together, so you're in luck.

There wasn't much to "build" per say. I swapped out the wifi card and installed a hard drive caddy instead of the DVD. Would highly recommend, works quite well.

Re: Random Hiccups

Mon, 14 Apr 2014 20:26:15 -0000

Well it's been two months since anyone has posted so i guess it's time to share my story. I started having random hiccups in my junior year of high school.. needless to say (as most of you already know).. i'm always entertaining in a classroom. anyways, I'm now about to be 26 and i still have them. I have been diagnosed with pharyngeal reflux-- which means it upsets my stomach and my throat basically. Though i take meds for it, I still have hiccups but i'm in the process of having a few more tests done because i've started having more discomfort near my diaphragm. So hopefully i can fix this, if not-- owell. I've lived with it this long :) And as another person mentioned in an earlier post. I for one know how embarrassing it is to have these crazy hiccups but remember to embrace them as well. I almost always make a joke before someone else can. but the only problem i have is explaining this condition to so many strangers-- since we live in a curious world. blah. anyways thanks for listening :)

lol, wow-- i feel like we live similar lives. I'm going through a lot of those doctors right now myself. I've had random hiccups for years though and it wasn't until this year that they became a problem.
