It was a shame that the movie wasn't nominated for more Oscars that year.Thinking back on the movie made me feel the same emotions, when I first saw it. I need to rewatch it.

This movie surprised me at how much it moved me. I agree showing the movie at his perspective was a good idea at letting the audience connect with the lead.

Seriously? Oh well, I always say the great thing about doing film reviews is that there is no right and wrong because your own opinion can never be wrong. By giving up you never found out if Clarence got his wings - how can you live with yourself?

Comment on Interview with the Vampire (1994) by Horror Movie Medication

Great review. You shed some new light on this movie for me. But personally, this movie just didn't do it for me. The plot lacked direction in general and left me feeling unsatisfied. I will say the vampires were classy and suave, but I don't think that's enough to make a compelling movie. I also got the chance to review this film on my Horror Movie blog. I could always use some feedback from other critics if you get the chance. But keep up the good work. http://horrormoviemedication.blogspot.com/2013/03/interview-with-vampire-vampire.html#view

Comment on Taxi Driver (1976) by Dusty

Believe it or not, I had some of the same reactions to Taxi Driver when I first saw it. Not necessarily disappointed, but confused. That's because it develops at its own pace, and it's a tough one to adjust to. I would suggest letting sink it, and maybe going back to it now that you know what to expect. It's one of my favorite movies now...but that only happened after 2 or 3 watches.
