Devoted to the history of British Columbia's motor vehicle license plates, the author, Christopher John Garrish, is attempting "to create a concise history of the province's license plates in both print and image for the 100th anniversary of the first vehicle registration on February 29, 2004." This well-designed and informative Web site was awarded the 2001 British Columbia History Web Site Prize on May 11, 2002 at the annual meeting of the BC Historical Federation in Revelstoke.

Samson V Maritime Museum

Owned by the City of New Westminster and operated by the Royal Agricultural and Industrial Society of British Columbia, the Samson V was a snag-puller along the Fraser River. The Web site for the Samson V won the 2002 British Columbia History Web Site Prize awarded by the BC Historical Federation.

Old Cemeteries Society of Victoria

Informally organized in 1983, the Old Cemeteries Society of Victoria is a registered non-profit society whose members are "interested in the preservation of Victoria's beautiful and historic cemeteries." Their Web site contains information about walking tours of various cemeteries, most notably Ross Bay Cemetery in the Fairfield neighbourhood of Victoria, and a database completed in 2009 that documents the Old Burying Ground (Pioneer Square) on Quadra Street.The Old Cemeteries Society of Victoria site was awarded the 2007 BC History Web Site Prize by the BC Historical Federation.

Created and maintained by the Royal Engineers Living History Group, this site documents the presence and activities of the Columbia Detachment of Royal Engineers (known as Sappers), British Army, under Colonial R.C. Moody, as well as the activities of the North American Boundary Commission and other military operations associated with the colonies of Vancouver Island and British Columbia between 1858 and 1863. The Web site also describes and depicts the activities of the Royal Engineers and Associates Living History Group, which is based in British Columbia and conducts reenactments around BC and Washington Territory's history.
