Since there didn't seem to be much interest in GPLscale, I have renamed the repository to "GPLscale_deprecated". The repo will remain for historical purposes but AirBnB's fork will be useful going forward.

Comment on Evernote significantly increases prices – has the product improved? by Andy Traub

Thu, 30 Jun 2016 14:15:00 +0000

very mature perspective. I'm not jumping ship either b/c I'd pay much more for Evernote because of its capabilities. I'm in it every day and couldn't run my business without it. If someone is freaking out about paying $3 more a month for Evernote then I don't think they were maximizing Evernote in the first place.

Comment on Major post-GA features in the 5.7 release! by colincharles

I'm thinking of it from a building the package standpoint actually.

Comment on Major post-GA features in the 5.7 release! by Daniël van Eeden

This is a major feature indeed. The new protocol ships as a plugin with 5.7.12 and is not loaded by default. So this should not change anything until you actually load the new plugin. With a long release cycle adding new functionality in plugins is a good way to allow new features without forcing new behavior on people who just want stability.

ah, OSX... I think there are some clang build failures. I presumed you were on Linux. You could also file a jira (though check for oqgraph + clang). Cheers and good luck!

I'm building from source for MacOS, having created an updated Homebrew formula for 10.1.8. But it doesn't build ha_oqgraph.so, and moving to the source directory and following the instructions doesn't do anything — cmake returns zero exit status quickly. Guess I've got to dig through things in more detail...

Hi Jan Steinman -- we do include ha_oqgraph.so in the main package. You just need to execute INSTALL SONAME 'ha_oqgraph'; Of course, you also need to have libJudy available -- see https://mariadb.atlassian.net/browse/MDEV-5664 I believe OQGraph is being developed by Open Query and there is active development of it. We ship v.3. I know of at least one user who was using it since MariaDB Server 5.3. Maybe someone like Arjen Lentz from OpenQuery can answer the usage question better. If you're having build issues, please don't hesitate to file a Jira -- https://mariadb.atlassian.net/secure/Dashboard.jspa

Anyone know the status of OQGraph? The source is included with MariaDB 10.1.8, but I can't get it to build yet. Anyone successfully using it in 10.1.8? In any version?
