Did you ever solve this problem cuz it seems like so long. Anyway, I managed to do the same thing you were doing, except, in the login.php file, I included the style tag at the top of the page before the php codes and the rest worked wonderfully well. Also, thanks alot #Lafinboy.

hi, great Solution. i was looking something similar type but all i need is it the image changes automatically after some time without reload of full page. any help is appreciated thanx in advance.

It would be easier to just make your script output a random image every time it gets loaded and then do this - #css-selector { background:url('/path/to/script.php'); }
