I was going to send a link to this year's efforts but their website is currently down. There is a typo on it - "We are updating out site we will be back soon".  I presume they mean outside? For fucks sake!  Only thirteen words and they get one wrong?  Null points.

Hmmm looking at the listing of your peers, I have a  sneaky suspicion that they confused the 'grandad' in your head line with 'grandparenting' in general....in other words their algorithms could use some work.  Unless you've posted a whole heap of 'how to be a Grandad, find a leprechaun and make money online' type posts that I have , thankfully, missed.:P

The asterisk in the middle of a word is an abomination and I regret I ever used it.  In fact I have a good mind to go back over all my previous 105 instances and remove it.  Another project for the programmer.....

I seem to be in illustrious company then?"As for the types of comments I make, sometimes I just, By God, get carried away with my own eloquence."That sums me up nicely?

You're in illustrious company GD. Nothing to be ashamed of. General George Patton was famous for his swearing."When I want my men to remember something important, to really make it stick, I give it to them double dirty. It may not sound nice to some bunch of little old ladies at an afternoon tea party, but it helps my soldiers to remember. You can't run an army without profanity; and it has to be eloquent profanity. An army without profanity couldn't fight its way out of a piss-soaked paper bag. … As for the types of comments I make, sometimes I just, By God, get carried away with my own eloquence."

Have a look at her other videos from Bonn. How she presents without swearing her head off is beyond me.

Not that you'd be interested, but I watched it for you and you didn't miss anything worth talking about. So I won't.
