Comes For Burrito, Ousted As Burglar

The NYPD is on the hunt for a suspected burglar and have credited a local Chipotle worker for the newest lead in the case.

Three men reportedly broke into a Crown Heights apartment on May 18th, flashed a gun and tied up three girls. The thugs then covered them with a blanket and fled the home with $1,500 in cash. None of the victims were injured.

Persaud Deliver$ On Higher Ed Promise

Interim President Peter Cohen of Manhattan Beach’s Kingsborough Community College (KCC) joined with his top staff earlier this week to mark some upcoming additions to the school’s campus.

With the help of a $600,000 grant from Albany, secured by State Senator Roxanne Persaud, the college will embark in the near future on expansion and improvements to the KCC ecosystem.

Canarsie residents have been complaining about the condition of Paerdegat Avenue North for some time now. It’s littered with garbage, old tires and abandoned cars. Councilman Alan Maisel and the 69th Precinct worked together to identify illegal cars and had at least 10 of them towed off the street.

House Gutted In Evening Inferno

A fire tore through a three-story home Sunday night, leaving many wondering how the devastation started.

Multiple calls came into 911 around 8:35 p.m. of large plumes of smoke coming from the first floor of 684 East 79th Street, near Glenwood Road. Witnesses started seeing flames shooting up to five feet in the air from the back of the building.
