Thank you for this piece. I am in a similar demographic as you, except that my son is brown. And some of my oldest friends are police officers. It's been a tough week. Thank you for your words. (Also, I loved this resource. I don't know if it's the one you were looking for, but I like it: http://www.ahaparenting.com/ask-the-doctor-1/talking-with-children-about-racism-police-brutality-and-protests?A=SearchResult&SearchID=9795525&ObjectID=4595384&ObjectType=35

Comment on A blessing for today by Dagmar

"This time of the interim" simply put "transition"...... we have reached the 10cm point and are wide open ......contractions stopped but the time to push has not yet come. Then what? Stesa ......keep breathing.... Pazienza.........Be still and know that I am .......Ready to be Born again? Willing to let go? We are the kindom .......despite all the bombs and drones .......we are the best hope we have........we have a choice between the worst of male and female models. Opt out and you have chosen the worst possibility, stand with her and you will be disappointed again ......still the time has come to let the woman repent, recover and lead. Mayou Angela said it well: when we know better we do better. Let's hope and pray that after all the heart breaks the woman knows better. Sunrise blessings
