"The driver's authorities...," I like this blog so I won't nitpick.

Commented on Ban Watch 2010: Male Circumcision Proposed for the Chopping Block in SFist

Doesn't female genitalia surgery usually involve removal of the clitoris? The clitoris is homolgous to the glans (head) of the penis, not the foreskin.
Have I been missing out on some extra pleasure, whilst my parents opted for me to not have the need to clean inside my foreskin?
I understand the issue of choice but the implications for a "ban" needs to have some health deficiencies or deep psychological impacts (which can be a never-ending game of "tell me about your childhood.")

Also commenting on blog you would normaly otherwise just read in order to update fellow humans that you saw a beard appear in your toast or latte foam.

Commented on That Temporary Transbay Terminal? It Has No Toilets. in SFist

The "shitters" found in the old transbay building were nasty and really creepy, and the greyhound station wouldn't let untickted passengers use their toilets; so why is this a new issue?

Commented on San Francisco's 1906 Earthquake, Now In Color in SFist

Commented on S.F. to Ban Happy Meals? in SFist

600 kilocalories for one meal for a child is not half bad. Many kids on assisted lunch programs, like myself growing up, don't get breakfast and usually a poor quality dinner. We could burn up 600 playing tetherball.
The constant access to junk food is an issue, stemming from child rearing and a consumtion obsessed society.

Commented on A Word About the Clipper Cards And Why They Already Fail in SFist

Commuter Check has already sent an email notifying people of the changes:
"Dear Commuter Check Direct Participant,
You are currently ordering a MUNI "A" monthly ticket.
Effective November 1st 2010 MUNI will no longer offer a paper "A" ticket. All passes are currently being transitioned to the "CLIPPER" smart card only.
You will need to obtain a CLIPPER card to load the "A" pass for use in the benefit month of November and beyond. To update your order, log onto your Commuter Check Direct account to delete your current order and place a new order for the Muni "A" pass under "Clipper" no later than your company?s deadline for the November benefit month.
You must provide your CLIPPER card number at the time you place an order"
It's an easy transition.

Commented on NIMBY Watch: Ike's May Be Forced to Close, Café Du Soleil Wins Music Permit in SFist

I had a blind date there once, that fell through, but the sandwiches were great!
Seriously, how much noise could people be making?
I say we reroute the F line just to spite these whining neighbors.

Commented on Ellen Apologizes for iPhone Parody in SFist

Texti on the iPhone is not hard, the touch sensitivity and spell check make me faster then all my droid and blackberry friends. You must ha e forgotten that back int the day we had to multi tap numbed keys to get the right letters.
This post was made from an iPhone.

Commented on This Week at Heart of the City Farmers Market in SFist

Although delicious, immunologist and botanist don't concur with the concept of immunotherapy via "local raw" honey, most warn agaist such as the live bacteria and allergens may cause serious reactions. Also, the article you linked to states that allergies protect against cancer.
But for other qualities, I too recommend Eggman Family honey.

Commented on Conan O'Brien Visits Twitter Headquarters in SFist

Do they actually do work there? All I ever see are celebrities wandering around.
