Hi gang! I was away on a mini vacation in Tampa without my computer We're doing mom's bucket list. Oh, well let's get down to business. @ Halfpass & Jane, I'm glad that I'm not the only impatient dressage rider. Patience is not my virtue. @ Jane, OW! tree branch in the tummy! I have a silver knob too! Jotting a note to myself about riding with whips. @ OTB, The lease is going well. I need to check in with the family to confirm that we're continuing this month. I'd like to continue so we'll see how the owners feel.

I'm joining the tapping chorus. I'm doing my part, I'm practicing, so where is the perfect? Frankly I'd settle for pretty good. Currently hovering right around Oh My. (I had a bad riding day.) Gosh the whip on the outside...great tip on it tickling the horse if you get too close to the rail. I frequently ride Tiny with two whips (don't need to use them, just carry them) he tries to travel away from whichever side the whip is on, so two evens him out. Cantering along one day, and suddenly my outside whip is wrenched out of my hand! It caught just right in the rail, and stuck out like a tree branch. Yup, hit me in the stomach as we cantered on. Yow! Naturally it was one of those nice silver knob handled whips. I had the strangest bruise on my stomach!

How is the lease going? Is this something you think you might keep up for a bit now?

You know, if you hear the echo of other tapping sounds....? It's probably me tapping my foot impatiently awaiting outcomes.... I feel your pain...
