Hi,

I signed up for the medium challenge a few weeks ago, but did not get a chance at that time to post what I had already read for the year that would contribute to my readings for the challenge:

Africa- I read four books set in Africa this year so far all by Wilbur Smith. They were:

"A Falcon Flies"
"Men of Men"
"The Sound of Thunder"
"Assegai"

I also read three books set in Europe this year so far. They were:
"The Other Queen" by Phillipa Gregory
"Tess of the D'Urbervilles" By Thomas Hardy
"The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Borrows

Four books set in North America:
"The Host" by Stephenie Meyer
"I Alex Cross" By James Paterson
"Escape" by Robert Tanenbaum

Two books from Australasia:
"Mr. Pip" by Lloyd Jones
"The Last Time I saw mother" by Arlene J. Chai

Will post any updates next month.

Good question, Jaime.

I have just googled it, and it seems that the Islands of the Caribbean are usually considered part of the North American continent.

Here is one of the sources I found: http://geography.about.com/od/lists/a/whichcontinent.htm

But as I have said before, no one is going to ´police´ your choices; I hope you are all going to have some good reading experiences, and that you will move outside your comfort zone once in a while :D

I've scanned all the comments, but I haven't seen an answer to this question: What are we counting Caribbean books as? North American? South American?
