Dear Mr. Epstein, Thank you for your lovely book. I will treasure the John Duck cole slaw recipe, as I have been longing for it. After the Thanksgiving crush, I shall make it.The burned bits on the bottom of the stuffing wasn't half bad either. I had the opportunity to know Pierre Freney and Craig Claiborne as well. Pierre Franey taught me how to cook meat by feel. He made the most wonderful, simple meals. Craig's New Years eve parties were memorable. Pity that I was so young then and took everything for granted.
