I've owned AMZN since 250.

@Ken - Wow, great buy, no doubt, I'm increasingly of the belief that they will be difficult/impossible to stop in many areas. Great holding.. where did you buy? Hear you on TRIP. I might be stubborn but I do believe it is a unique player and it will continue to grow. Moving away from advertising ot its own booking platform is def an expensive move in the short term but I believe it's the right long term move.

I'm glad that you finally bought AMZN, it's my biggest position. I'm not clear why you went long TRIP, with its declining revenue.

Comment on Closing 2 New Trades by Ken

I have some ideas as to how you might improve: 1. The average beta of your shorts is > than the average beta of your longs. So in a strong bull market, you will lose. 2. Extremely thin stocks like TZOO should not be traded: they don't behave "rationally." 3. Instead of trading 5 or 6 pairs at a time, perhaps you should just try your best 1 or 2 shots. Just some thoughts.

PayPal has something that many new startups will need a decade to earn: Trust. Check out http://www.stoccs.com/stock/NASDAQ-PYPL/PayPal for a super brief overview. Twitter on the other hand seems to finally have decided what it is... and as http://www.stoccs.com/stock/NYSE-TWTR/Twitter highlights recent changes might work, but the numbers may take a while to catch up. Trade looks solid, but markets are funny things.

Yes, I rarely do this but I am here. I might be closing one of them before the next PYPL earnings but we'll see.

Wait, you're already Long PYPL, short RAX. Are you doubling up on PYPL?
