Whoo and also hoo! Thanks for the interview! It's always a pleasure, rambling at folks about death and pizza.

The Graveyard Book is a delightful fantasy, a recreation of Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book. It is a tale about a boy raised in a graveyard by ghosts, rather than a boy raised in a jungle by animals. Gaiman is a prolific writer, having written adult novels, young adult novels, graphic novels, and even movie screenplays. This is the first novel of his that I have read, and I am curious to read more. He writes in a very playful style, with a narrator who isn't afraid to be witty, and on top of that, the story is entertaining, too.

The best thing about this horror fanzine is that is written by fans for fans, so it cuts to the chase with some very original and entertaining articles. Iโ€™ve just started on my copy and I canโ€™t put it down (except to write this blurb, of course). Iโ€™ll be posting a full review soon. horror

You might have a favorite book or film, but you can only watch or read it so many times before you have to let it sit and then go back and realize it's your favorite still. At some point everything gets a little stale and you have to step away from it.

It was in a CVS, along with a similarly-designed vampire (which I may post a picture of soon). They were the only two of their kind in the store. No markings, in terms of their manufacturer, which is too bad - I'd love to see what other creatures are a part of this line.

It's also worth noting that when this guy's belly is squeezed, his eyes light up red & he emits a scream.

Thanks, John. I've been enjoying your posts too.

Yeah, this really was a cool event - although I do wish it had been a little closer to Halloween. I'd love if they made it an annual tradition.

Nope, that's not Mignola, but that print is just as cool! I wrote down a few names at the opening, and I believe that first image is by Joseph Querio.
