To help a child learn to blow her nose, have her take a deep breath through her mouth first, then hold the tissue to her nose, and show her how to make a fierce face while exhaling through her nose. Do it along with her, exaggerating the motions and making funny faces. She'll soon get the hang of it. This method worked quickly with both of my children.
