Like other types of survival kits, these would be packages of gear and supplies that may aid the surviving groups in the battle to live. Do you have prescription medication that you can't do without for a week. In general, you want to make sure that your earthquake survival kit has enough supplies to last for three days.

I wish you some balance between the Yay! and Boo! effects. And now I'm hungry...with some sweet potatoes in the fridge...and would you share your recipe for sweet potato pie? ;-)

Great post. Sometimes it's hard to see the bright side of an uncomfortable situation. The fact that you're able to do so (and often with some amount of humor) just speaks about what a great person and mother you are.

Oh, I loved this post. Mainly because I am just SO HAPPY and EXCITED for you and your family. And b/c I can't wait to meet the newest little guy or gal!!! =) I so wish the pregnancy wasn't so incredibly difficult for you... but you are so right about the "toy surprise" at the end! =) Looking forward to seeing you and the whole gang in January! Hang in there and hope all goes well with the new appts this week. xoxo

I am so so sorry. I hope you get some relief from your misery soon. Yeah, it sounds like the "cure" definitely isn't worth it...especially since it's not very much of a "cure". (((hugs)))

I wonder whether your dismissal from the last OB has you worried now about being seen as a problem patient and this is translating into your being less assertive than usual about your needs. From what you wrote, it sounds like you described to Dr. M. and to the HHC nurse what you experienced and waited for them to offer what you needed rather than telling them what you knew you needed.
