The texture should be more like a cake. You may want to cook a little longer next time--makes it a bit more portable. Glad you liked it!

Hi! So how is the texture supposed to turn out on the inside? I guess I was imaging it to be more like a firmer bar, but maybe I didn't let it cook long enough? It got nice and brown on the top, but still soft on the inside. it does cut into squares though. How did yours turn out?
Instead of walnuts I added cocoa nibs. Tastes great!

I love it, Megan.

Just made this and it was delicious! Used feta, sausage, and yogurt in the filling. Suggestion - for people like me who aren't terribly familiar with millet, you might want to put COOKED millet in the crust ingredient list. Slightly crunchy uncooked millet crust was fine too, though. ;)

Thanks - we think she's pretty cute too. =) It's so funny you posted this because I've been meaning to go back to it. I liked it for the fall/winter especially. It was really just laziness that kept me from keeping it up - a bottle of Burt's Bees is faster and easier. I"ll do a post in a week or so with how things are going in the warm weather. If you try it, make sure you have a great moisturizer for afterward, (vitamin E or coconut oil) and play around with the castor oil/olive oil ratios.

Hello! Just thought I'd ask - how is this going? I'm thinking of trying this 2-3 days per week, but I don't usually get spots and have quite dry, sensitive skin. I just think it sounds like a good idea!
PS. Anabella is adorable!

I was wondering about making a bigger batch, and then canning it for handy use. Any thoughts?

Dirty hippie! Hahaha!

I hate to say it, but my favorite shampoo is currently Trader Joes Tea Tree Tingle. Maybe the trick is to add tea tree oil to some baking soda-vinegar scheme. Do let me know if you figure it out! Would love to stop buying the poo at the store.

Please email me when you have a chance.

http://www.mother-ease.com/ . . . used these for all four of my children; only needed to replace the covers after the second one. Spent $800 one time to diaper for almost 8 years! Rarely had a leak and when I did, it was usually due to the fact that I didn't make the cover snug enough around the legs (happens as their cute chubby legs thin out when they spurt up)

Hi Connie!
I'm glad this helped. I have never taken CLO capsules. I know some people do, but I believe it gets into the blood stream faster and more effectively if it is in liquid form, though people debate that. If you do get the oil, definitely get a flavor - I like cinnamon. They ran out last time I ordered, so I figured plain couldn't be that bad, but it is. =)
The brand I like for monolaurin and betaglucan is Ecological Formulas. I included it in the above post. Blessings!
Megan

This is so helpful to me, as I was recently diagnosed with a serious health condition, but do not have the time to research well about where to start with supplements. I just caught a cold that was going through the family, and wished I'd been taking some of the cod liver oil I give to my tube-fed daughter! So can you please tell me, do you take CLO just as the oil, or do you take capsules? Is there a particular brand(s) of monolaurin & betaglucan supplement you take? I particularly loved the scripture you shared that you reminded yourself of while healing. I think I will print it out for myself to have in the coming months.
